Scrap metal recycling industry is growing day by day and aluminum recycling has a large portion of it. Approx 28% of scrap material is made of aluminum and it was according to a survey that took place in 1993. The percentage is now increased even more.

Other metals that are recycled on a huge level are lead, copper, molybdenum, zinc, and tin. In general, scrap recycling is a process in which secondary metals are recovered to use again. You can get further information about the recycling of scrap metal if you have a peek at this web-site

The recovered metals are subdivided into different classes such as:-

Home scrap: It is basically a steel scrap that is produced in a refining and smelting plant. The remaining of the primary metal products is used to generate home scrap.

New or prompt scrap: This type of metal is produced in manufacturing units where the steel is produced. It includes items such as turnings, stampings and clippings.

Old scrap: This is one of the best recycling methods and most of the people are familiar with it. In this process, goods that are no longer in use are recovered. These goods can be used and discarded. The good with the old scrap and metal is rendered by technological overruns.

Scrap metal recycling is important because we have a responsibility of efficiently using our natural resources. It also makes economic sense and will save the earth by going green.
